     Josh Karas is a Nashville-based pianist, composer, and producer whose unmatched versatility and commitment to excellence have made him one of the most sought-after talents in the city’s vibrant music scene. Known for his ability to seamlessly navigate a wide range of musical styles, Josh has become an in-demand collaborator in both the pop and jazz worlds. Karas has shared the stage with a diverse array of artists, including Iam Tongi, Tigrilily Gold, Corrina Gill, Bertha, Emma Zinck, Paul Sidoti, Jada, and many more. His live performance credits also include extensive touring across the United States, South America, and Asia.​​

     Josh's formal training includes a Bachelor of Jazz Studies from Vanderbilt University, where he became the first graduate of the school’s award-winning jazz program in May 2022. During his time at Vanderbilt, he studied with Bruce Dudley (jazz piano), Ryan Middagh (composition), and Amy Dorfman (classical piano). His contributions to the jazz program earned him five Downbeat Student Music Awards and the honor of having his composition featured in the 2022 Jazz Education Network Young Composer's Showcase. His classical background and jazz expertise allow him to bring a depth of musicality to any genre, from pop to jazz to classical.
